Presenting to you all the only and the only....:
STREET CRY
Street Cry is a 1998 bay stallion with magnificent movement, a healthy dapple in his coat, and a fast streak. He's a full sister to Helsinki (GB), the dam of Shamardal (winner of multiple GI stakes, and champion 2YO).
Street Cry's Pedigree: Sired by: Machiavellian Machiavellian was sired by Mr. Prospector (Raise A Native X Gold Digger) and thrown by Coupe de Foile (Halo X Raise The Standard) Thrown by: Helen Street (GB) Helen Street was sired by Troy (Petingo (GB) X La Milo (GB)) and thrown by Waterway (FRA) (Riverman X Boulevard (IRE))
Well, we can all see that this delightful stallion is regally bred. But, we'd like to further convince you. So, we'll show you his delightful record on the track.
Street Cry's Racing Credibility: His 2yr old record was: 5 starts, 1 win, 3 places (2 graded), and 1 show (graded) His win was, indeed, his first start, a maiden special weight on the dirt at 6.5f. It was a well defined win. The Irish bred stole the wire with 7 lengths to spare between him and the placer. He placed 2nd to Flame Thrower by a measely head in the Del Mar Futurity, a Grade Two start. It was another second in the Norfolk Stakes, another Grade Two start. Once again, it was a lose to Flame Thrower, who got the gutsy colt by a neck. His 3rd of the year was in the Breeders' Cup Juveline, where the magnificent colt was beaten out by Macho Uno and Point Given. His 3yr old record stood: 3 starts, 1 win, 2 places (both Graded) The first was scored in a 1600m Allowance race. He was 2nd in the G3 Discovery Handicap, beaten only by Evening Attire. He was also second in the G3 UAE Derby, losing by a nose, and only a nose to Express Tour. His 4yr old record looked like: 4 starts, 3 wins (all Graded), and 1 place (graded) He was 1st in the Grade One Dubai World Cup by 4 1/2 lengths. His win in the Grade One Stephen Foster Handicap was by an even larger margin of 6 1/2 lengths. The Grade Two Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al Maktoum Challenge Round 3 was, to put it lightly, stolen by 8 1/2 lengths. His one second was in the Grade One Whitney Handicap, where Left Bank was the only horse to best him. He was voted Horse of the Year in United Arab Emirates So, in 12 starts, he never not placed. With a grand total of 5 wins (3 Graded), 6 places (5 Graded) and 1 show (Graded) And, in only these 12 starts, he managed to amass a total lifetime earning of $5,150,837.
Still not sold, huh? Let us then take a look at his get to date.
So far in his short breeding career, keeping in mind that his first foals were born in 2004, he has been leading juvenile and freshman sire. He's been twice highest rated horse in his division, and his yearlings are going for top dollar on the market.
As of right now, he's sired:
4 crops 481 foals 2 crops of racing age 315 foals of racing age 173 current 2 year old foals 140 yearlings 26 weanlings
One of those racing age foals is a champion, eight are graded stakes winners, twelve are stakes winners, and six are stakes placers.
